Meeting called to order 8 a.m. by President Tim McFarlan

Mark Keegan is at Fire Academy and Paul Nies attended via tele-conference Approximately 15 members in attendance

President report read and accepted

Secretary report read and accepted

Treasurer report read and accepted with S 112,620 in the bank.

Fire Chief report: 2 public assists

-showed members Forest Service 10 year pan maps(cutiburn areas)

-Firewise community information/discussion

-Wildfire Academy starts today

-Basin ops at Pioneer Park March 26 & 27

-Pack Test on April 3 (PMHMS track-call for community help)

-EVOC/EVADE, class and driver course on May 1&2 (call for community help)           -Ask for funding of heart simulator 0$535

-Ask to fund cabinets @$2000

**MOTION 031310a: WFPA to purchase a heart simulator at $535, and to spend 52,000 on cabinets for the Fire Station_ **PASSED

Committee Reports:

Fire Chief Selection Committee: Pual Nies-gave a brief job description and selection process that is being followed

-discussion-interim Chief, Paid vs Volunteer, Sub-contract, 1099 vs, w2, Can we fund this?                  ……..We will post position available and see who applies, then continue process of selection.

ByLaw Committee: Comments taken from membership until end of month. Then legal review with a one hour cap…(to be paid by Mark Herrin...Thanks)

**MOTION 031310b: The Board authorizes Bill Whittington to review the 2010 By Laws for approval by membership.(limited to one hour),**PASSED

Fire District Formation Committee: people in Phx working on getting preliminary votes for/against
