WFPA NOTICE
from Nick Wold.....

There is now a WiFi Hot Spot at the firehouse, for the use of
Walker residents and guests, to gain access to the Internet, including access to
e-mail.
One just needs a laptop with wireless capability, search for
wireless networks and "connect".
We have many residents that can't justify the expense of
satellite, so we've arranged to share the connection at the firehouse, with the
approval of the WFPA Board.
We ask the users to adhere to the parking restrictions (signs)
and use the parking directly to the west of the firehouse.
I would like to see users of this service, make an extra
donation to the firehouse, to help defray the cost of the satellite service.

The newest Walker t-shirt, which was designed by Toddie Hauck, was a big hit at
Walker Day last summer. It is an all cotton t-shirt with a front pocket.
"Walker, Arizona", is silk screened above the pocket. A forest design of trees
and mountains is silk screened on the back of the shirt. It's a great looking
shirt!

If you have bagged
pine needles, we will take them. I need lots of pine needles to use as
mulch on our small organic farm in Chino Valley. We need them all year
long, so anytime you bag up pine needles, please call and I will come pick them
up or you can just leave them in our front yard. Please just pine needles,
no large limbs, logs, or trash.
Thank you,
