SPRING CLEANUP & SUMMER FUN

1. Clean out the rain gutters of pine needles and such.
2. Clean combustibles from under decks and buildings.
3. Clean out the chimney flue and spark arrester for next winter.
4. Remind your quad riders of safety rules to include:

• SLOW DOWN!!!—WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR—RIDE WITH A GROUP

ASH DISPOSAL

1. Put ashes in a metal container outside and cover with water
2. Make sure container is not on combustible material.

FIRE PLACES, STOVES, HEATERS

1. Get them ready for fall use

OUTSIDE FIRES

1. Do not leave outside fires unattended
2. Have a charged hose present at all times.
3. Do not burn in windy conditions.
4. Remove combustible material within 10 feet

OPEN SLASH BURNING

1. Inspection of burn site by Fire Department Rep.
2. 24 hr. notification to Fire Dept.
